Silos and Sensibilities
Clearly, in the aria to be performed for Blued Trees in New York City; The Sea Will have The Last Word, the wife did not have some important conversations with her husband. We don't know why but we know that one consequence is that nothing stood in the way of his stardom or her loss. Now everyone has to pay the piper for ecocide and the sea will have the last word on his career.
October 30, 7: PM visitors to the Anita Rogers Gallery will encounter suspended branches, sculptural calligraphy, painted blue; a grid of photographs of trees from The Blued Trees Symphony, each painted with a vertical sine wave; and enjoy a performance of an aria from my on-going opera work based on the mock trial for that trial. In the aria, we learn that a woman has lost her husband to his greed for money and power. A dancer will perform as her alter ego, coming to terms with the dead world he has left her.
