Aviva Rahmani
Aviva Rahmani is an artist and researcher, uniquely qualified to explore the intersection of art and the environment. She has exhibited in numerous museum shows and is an affiliate with the Institute for Arctic and Alpine Research at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Her PhD is from Plymouth University, UK, and her MFA is from CalArts. Rahmani is author of “Divining Chaos: The Autobiography of an Idea” and a coeditor and contributor to “Ecoart in Action: Activities, Case Studies, and Provocations for Classrooms and Communities” (New Village, 2022) and has contributed to and been written about in numerous books including “Practical Ecofeminism”, “Blaze: Discourse on Art, Women and Feminism”, and “Art, Theory and Practice in the Anthropocene”.
